Proverbs 13:10
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
I never thought about it before, but this proverb is totally true (of course!). Whenever there is contention, it is because either myself or the other person(s) doesn't want to change their opinion, admit they are wrong, or just aren't getting their way. It is only when we seek wisdom that we will find it. We need to set our pride aside and realize we might be wrong and need to change or things just might not go the way we desire (and that is okay).
