Search for Treasure

Proverbs 2:4 

If thou seekest her [wisdom] as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

In today's society, the push for most people is to be rich. They also want it the easiest way possible; the least work they can do, the better. However, if they know there is a "treasure" hidden somewhere, they will exhaust themselves trying to find it.

Imagine you have a lotto ticket with the winning numbers for $1,000,000, but you can't find it. Won't you turn your house upside down looking for it?

God tells us we should search for wisdom just as we would that ticket. We should do whatever it takes  to find wisdom. When we do search for wisdom, then we will find God and He will give wisdom!

Proverbs 2:5-6 

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
