Proverbs 11:14
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
It is wise to seek advice from godly people. When we seek the counsel of others, we gain their wisdom and may save ourselves some heartache. Remember, the heart is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9); therefore, seeking counsel will help us see if we are being deceived.
