As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
Putting a ring of gold in a pig's snout seems like a waste of gold. It is the same when a pretty woman is loud and boisterous. Truly, a person's behavior can detract from their physical beauty. The opposite is also true, a woman's discreet demeanor can make up for a lack of beauty.
