A lifelong marriage is built of days. Just as a building is built brick by brick, step by step, so a marriage is built day by day.
Our every day doings may seem insignificant, but they are the building blocks. A little love shown every day will add up to a lot. Just as a little lack of respect or disinterest will slowly tear down a marriage.
Make sure you are using good bricks of love to build your marriage. O f course, you also want to build your house on the firm foundation of Christ.
It is never too late to start building your marriage. Start day by day. This is the base concept of the book The Love Dare. Take one day at a time and show some love!
