This is something we should all read at least once a week!
Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer,
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written."
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie.
Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
Remember that I will always share my spoon with you!

--Galatians 1:10
I have been asking God to lead me to the scripture He has for me every morning and I have yet to be disappointed. Today He led me to Galatians 1 and verse 10 really stuck out to me.
Why have I been so upset with other people's reactions to my pregnancy? Am I out to please them or God? I'm out to please God!!!! Who cares what they think? If they can't be happy that Chad and I are being blessed with another life, then so what?! We feel we are following God's will for our lives. We are trying to live as the Bible commands, we take care of our family, and we have joy in our Lord! I am a slave to Christ, not them! I am done ignoring my pregnancy when around them. If they feel uncomfortable because they want to worry and not put their trust in God, then that is their problem to deal with, not mine! The only thing I can do is continue to pray for them. I am living for Christ!

Thankful for Trials!
--James 1:2-8
The Lord led me to this scripture this morning after a very depressing day yesterday. Things are not going well for either Chad or I in our endeavors to get certain things accomplished. God reminded me this morning that we need to be thanking Him for these trials. Because of these difficulties, it will be that much sweeter when God provides for us and still accomplishes what we were trying to do. All glory will be given to Him instead of some of it to ourselves. He reminded me that although we can try to do things on our own, it is only through Him that we can be successful! May God be glorified!

Personal Bible Reading and Study Time
My problem is I don't know what to do in the morning now that I have completed that task. Do I start all over? Do I just read where I feel God is leading me that particular morning? Do I work on a published Bible study? I would love to hear your suggestions.

Psalm 139:14-18
14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Children
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
--Psalm 127: 3-5
--Psalm 128:1-4
The Bible is very clear that children are a blessing. Please rejoice with us as our family has been blessed again (due the end of the year).

Psalm 119: 113-120
But I love Your law.
114 You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word.
115 Depart from me, you evildoers,
For I will keep the commandments of my God!
116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;
And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
117 Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
And I shall observe Your statutes continually.
118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes,
For their deceit is falsehood.
119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross;
Therefore I love Your testimonies.
120 My flesh trembles for fear of You,
And I am afraid of Your judgments.
