My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;"fall-Greek-peripipto=to fall into something that is all around
Temptations are all around us. We are going to fall. The question isn't if, it is when.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
The important thing to remember is: it is through trials that our faith grows.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Our faith causes us to have hopeful patience through the trial, which in turns helps us grow more mature in faith.
Also, when we endure the trials, we know we are in good company. Even Christ endured trials.
1 Peter 4
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.So, let us not grow weary for we know rewards come to those who endure.
