While I know these verses are in reference to an immoral relationship, I can see how they also fit with begin in debt. Don't even "play" with debt because you will be drawn in with "just a little more" and soon you will be drowning. You will then spend years working just to pay the bills. Someone else will get rich of your work. You will wonder why you didn't listen to wise counsel in the first place and just stay away.
